Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)


The Certified Nurse Assistant Program prepares a student to take the Illinois Nursing Assistant Competency Exam. Our students pass the state examination, and find employment in their field.

  • CNA Theory/80 hours
  • CNA Clinical/40 hours
  • Patient Care
  • CPR Training

  • Environmental Safety
  • Job Search Techniques


  • Requirements for Eligibility
  • High school diploma or GED (preferred)
  • Pass the entrance exam
  • 18 years or older
  • Attend an orientation
  • Provide physical and immunization records within a 6 month period


  • Requirements for completion and qualifications for the certification exam:
  • Pass all tests and quizzes
  • Complete clinical and theory hours
  • Register and pay the fee for the state exam
