The Transfer Center assists students in transferring to four year colleges and universities to earn their Bachelor's degrees after they leave Olive-Harvey College. Students interested in transferring to a traditional college or university may stop by the Transfer Center in Room 1410 A 28. Staff and academic advisors in the Center can provide you with transfer information and referrals. The center is equipped with a library stocked with catalogs from other schools including admission applications, financial aid and scholarship information.

 

The Center also maintains a file of transfer agreements and transfer guides with area colleges. The Transfer Center staff conducts workshops where you can learn about financial assistance, admissions procedures, and the transfer process. You can also meet with transfer admissions counselors from senior institutions to discuss the transfer process. They visit Olive-Harvey College throughout the school year. These representatives will give you advice on what courses to take that will satisfy the requirements of both schools.

 

You can actually visit your future school in person. The Transfer Center takes students on tours to certain colleges/universities every semester at no charge to the student.
