The results from the district assessment and placement tests will determine enrollment in courses at the college level, the developmental level or the non-credit college preparatory level. They are designed to assist the student to take classes that will build up skills for the college level English and/or math courses.
No appointment is necessary during the regular school week. The tests are not based on Pass or Fail.
Location: Room 2401
Hours:
- Monday - Thursday: 9am, 1pm, and 5pm
- Friday : 9am ONLY
- Saturday : 9am ONLY
A low score simply means that the student will be directed to the appropriate class that will aid him/her in achieving the skills necessary for the college course. Placement tests are not timed; most students need approximately 3 hours to complete the exam.
Students enrolled in online courses (WW & TW) must schedule appointments one day in advance and use the online scheduling system Time Trade for exams.
