Testing Center

 

Location: Room 2401

Hours: Mon - Thur 10am, 1:30pm, and 5pm Fri 10am, Sat 9am ONLY

 

All new Olive-Harvey students and continuing or former students without scores on file are required to take math, English, and reading placement tests BEFORE REGISTERING. The results from the district assessment and placement tests will determine enrollment in courses at the college level, the developmental level or the non-credit college preparatory level.They are designed to assist the student to take classes that will build up skills for the college level English and/or math courses.

The tests are not based on Pass or Fail.

A low score simply means that the student will be directed to the appropriate class that will aid him/her in achieving the skills necessary for the college course. Placement tests are not timed; most students need approximately 3 hours to complete the exam.

When Can You Test? No appointment is necessary during the regular school week, except for Saturdays.

 

CENTER for DISTANCE LEARNING

Students enrolled in online courses (WW & TW) must schedule appointments one day in advance and use the online system Time Trade to schedule all exams.

 

United States Constitution Testing Students

Students who are candidates for graduating from Olive- Harvey College and have not met the requirement of the Illinois and United States Constitution can take the Constitution test during operational hours.
