Olive-Harvey College belongs to you. Our highest priority is to help you achieve your goals. If you are clearly focused on what your next career move is, we will help you design a program of study that will greatly improve your chance for success. If you are still exploring possibilities, we look forward to bringing more direction and assistance to your search.
We are proud to be your comprehensive community college, distinguished by our mission to help all of the members of our community improve the quality of their lives through education. We meet you where you are. Perhaps you want to begin studies that lead to a bachelor’s degree and transfer to a four-year college or university. Maybe you want to gain a valuable skill that will give you an advantage in today’s highly technological job market. We have continuing education offerings that provide short-term job training or simply a chance to take a course that matches a personal interest or hobby.
Have you recently decided that you must earn your GED or better master the English language? If you are ready, our Adult Education program stands ready to serve as your partner in success. Whatever your goals, your success can start at Olive-Harvey College and its South Chicago Learning Center. All we require is a commitment to apply yourself and to use all of the resources we offer to aid your success.
There is a wide range of student services awaiting you at Olive-Harvey College. Our Academic Support Services can train you in more effective ways to study and prepare for exams or just provide you with tutoring to give you a needed boost. College advisors help you develop a plan to complete a certificate or degree that works well with your other responsibilities. Of course, we also provide a variety of forms of financial assistance, including grants and scholarships, for all who qualify.
