Advising Office
The mission of the College Advisors is to keep students informed and knowledgeable of college policy concerning their path to graduation and the necessary coursework that will assist them with that goal in a timely manner.
College Advisors work with students to help them plan academic programs that fulfill the graduation requirements of the City Colleges of Chicago. Olive-Harvey students are expected to be pro-active in their academic planning but at times it is necessary to visit an Advisor!
Advisors Meet with students regarding:
- Preadmission's requirements to Nursing and Respiratory Care Programs
- Interpret Student Policy Manual (policy manual)
- Development of education plans for certificates and Associates Degrees
- Apply for graduation
- General information on Workforce and Career Programs
- Assistance with reviewing courses for Transferring to Universities
- Workshop and New Student Orientation Sessions – Dates Coming Soon
