Admissions Documents
All prospective college-credit students must file a Olive-Harvey College Admissions Data Form and the following admissions materials lsited below.

New Students
- OFFICIAL high school transcript or G.E.D. certificate (these documents MUST be in a sealed envelope. Hand-carried transcripts, in a sealed envelope, will be accepted).
Transfer Students
- OFFICIAL transcript from each college/university attended (these documents MUST be in a sealed envelope. Hand-carried transcripts, in a sealed envelope, will be accepted).
- OFFICIAL high school transcript or G.E.D. certificate (these documents MUST be in a sealed envelope. Hand-carried transcripts, in a sealed envelope, will be accepted).
Students with College Degrees
- OFFICIAL copy of college transcript.
International Students
- Olive-Harvey College Foreign Student Admission Data Form
- OFFICIAL transcript from all secondary institutions attended with certified English translation.
- An Affidavit of Support from a sponsor in the U.S. or abroad.
- One hundred dollars ($100.00) processing fee for I-20. (A $50.00 credit is applied toward tuition in the semester for which the student visa is issued)
- A passport and copy of I-94
- Scores from the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). 450 is the minimum score necessary for admission to OHC credit programs.
- International students already in the U.S.A. on a student visa must ask the American college which issued the original I-20 form to send the I-538 (Permission to Transfer) form or a "statement of Non-Attendance." All foreign students must undergo assessment of their academic skills according to the student assessment policies established by the City Colleges of Chicago. Standardized placement criteria used for native students also apply to international students.
High School Students: (16 - 18 years olds)
Olive-Harvey College Admissions Data Form A Letter of Permission or Permit Form from the high school principal. This must have the signatures of the Principal, Counselor, and parent(s) giving approval for the student to attend, the necessary course(s), and the reason the student needs to take the course(s). High school students must undergo assessment of their academic skills according to the student assessment policies established by the City Colleges of Chicago. Standardized placement criteria used for OHC students also apply to high school students.
Students-At-Large
Students-at-large are those students interested in coursework at Olive-Harvey College, but are not seeking a degree from the College. Students-at-large may not take more than a cumulative of 12 credit hours.
