Mission Statement

The mission of Olive-Harvey College is to provide high quality educational programs and support services. Olive-Harvey College is dedicated to student learning and academic and career success through instructional excellence and responsiveness to student, business and community needs. Our goal is to support students in the completion of an associate’s degree in preparation for transfer to institutions of higher education and in preparation for immediate employment. Further, we support a wide array of excellent opportunities for life-long learning; career preparation, training, and advancement; and adult education including basic skills enhancement.

Enrollment:
About 3,000 credit and noncredit students

Average Class Size:
25 Students per class.

Student Profile:
The majority of full-time students are recent high school graduates; however, many adults also attend classes. The average student age is 28 years old.

Location:
The location of Olive-Harvey College, close to the center of the city, gives you public transportation connections with all the areas of Chicago.

Programs:
Two-year University Transfer Degree Programs prepare students to transfer to a four-year college to complete the bachelor's degree. Degree programs provide training and certification for specific careers and employment.

University Transfer Advantages:
Located near many outstanding colleges and universities, Olive-Harvey established transfer agreements with some of the best universities in the United States. These agreements allow students to transfer with ease to four-year colleges and universities. Students who successfully complete the university transfer degree program (Associate in Arts, Associate in Science or Associate in Applied Sciences) will find it easy to transfer two full years of courses and credits to complete a four-year degree.
